Aldea Penthouse Apartment

La Aldea de Riviera is convieniently located equidistant from Fuengirola and Marbella next to Calahonda and Miraflores.
The gardens at the center of the complex are mature and have a large swimming pool.

All the facilities close at hand

The beach, restaurants, bars, supermarkets etc. are within easy walking distance. However for the more adventurous a car hire is recomended which gives the added advantage of being able to explore the excellent beaches and white villages Andalucia is famous for.

Description

This penthouse apartment consists of an open plan lounge / dining area with sofa bed, kitchen, one bedroom with twin beds and a full bathroom which is where the washing machine is locatred. The kitchen is equipped with hob, oven, microwave and fridge. There is Sat TV (free to air channels only) and a video player videos can be hired locally.
The property also has air conditioning in the bedroom.
Weekly maid service with a change of linen and towels is included. However, clients are required to bring their own pool/beach towels.

• It was amazing, beautiful - modern, clean, equipped with a 100% - I was thrilled! I just missed a free wifi :-(. Warning: the street from Villa Aldea (Cal-pound) man is destroying the car-2x during the week we had a broken mirror in our car! We would like again visit the apartment Nr.51. :-) Jitka

• Very well appointed apartment in an easy to find location. Close the the shops and restaurants means you do not need to have a car. We noticed that the kitchen had been recently renewed, nice to see money going back into the properties to keep themup to date. The local management company Casa Care were good and very helpfull when needed. Thanks for letting us stay there.

• We were very happy with our stay at this apartment. It had all the amenities that we needed and we found it to be quite comfortable. Very impressed that we had UK free sat TV instead of just Spanish channels which we wouldnt have understood! We had only one problem, the twin beds! Even after pushing them together we found that they slipped apart as the frames are metal and are sat on a tiled floor! Not a major problem but one which we will take into consideration on our next booking. We found the local amenities to be plentiful, good shopping, bars & restaurants. We wouldnt recommend two of the bars due to hygiene and price reasons but the rest are great so you can have a good night out without needing transport. PLEASE DONT PUBLISH THIS NEXT BIT: Couple of problems which dont need to be in the review as they can be easily fixed. First, the sofa bed in the lounge area doesnt work, there is a notice on the front of it saying "do not pull". Reason being that if you do pull it, it will break and therefore cannot be used as a bed as described in the ad. Also, the metal railing on the balcony has rusted in some areas leaving a few jagged edges which could be quite dangerous. Otherwise, all good, thankyou.

• Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and the apartment was ideal for what we wanted. A special thank you must go to Casa Care the managers of the property for arranging to let us stay on later than normal so we did not have time to kill at the airport. The property has recently been fitted with a new kitchen and the addition of the dishwasher is a great bonus. Location wise its ideal as its close to the shops and beach yet not on top of them so the area is very quiet. The pool looked lovely but I’m afraid at that time of the year its still a bit cold for our liking. We will certainly tell our friends about it and hope to come back again soon.

• Apart from a slight dealy with the keys on arrival both the Management Company Casa Care and the apartment were excellent. By prior arrangement we were able to stay on late at the apartment with no extra charge / doesn-t than make a nice change ! Definatly come back again.

• Apartment is very well equipped. Situated in a very peaceful area. The pool area is ideal for relaxing in the sun. The beach is only a few mins walk. Would highly recommend this apartment to anyone.
