Las Cascadas de las Lomas is a brand new luxury development, of modern design apartments. They are situated, in a very quiet location but only a few minutes walk away from local shops and restaurants. Two kilometers further down the hill there is a huge range of amenities, including restaurants, bars, night clubs, banks, medical centre, and taxi rank. Just past these, lies Calahonda beach.

Description

Other local amenities include a tennis club, and a wide choice of golf courses. Just a five minute drive from Calahonda is the beautiful Puerto Cabopino, which boasts a beautiful port with restaurants and bars. Just behind the Port is Cabopino beach a beautiful golden sand beach, with water sports, public toilets/ showers, bars and restaurants. The famous Puerto Banus is a 25 minute drive from Calahonda and is packed with night clubs, Bars and restaurants.

• High spec luxury penthouse apartment, huge terrace areas offering sunshine all day long.Furnished to high standard all the required comforts. Located at the very top of Calahonda Hills with spectacular views - car is required. Some reasonable local restaurants but we tended to travel to Cabopino for better selec tion. Cant fault anything about our stay - tended to visit swimming pool late pm/evening when it was extremely quiet. Highly recommended!

• The apt was just as it descibed and the terrace was spectacular. Also the couple who look after it were superb and terribly helpful. It was very clean and well stocked and we could not have wished for anything else!!! We will be back

• This was our second stay in the apartment. Yes it is lovely, well equipped, great patio and the very best ist the scenery to Mediterranean. We enjoyed very much our stay and will return surely in the future as well.

• FANTASTIC .. the penthouse and location were brill. Looking down through the peacefull hills and the views of the sea and Calahonda from the great sized terrace just great. The penthouse was of a very high quality both furnishing wise and cleanliness. Info pack was very helpful (directions aswell spot on). Perfect location for base to rest of del sol,or just fantastic if you just want to stay and spend the time at the apartment.

• The apartment was spacious and bright. The terrace area was however the best part as we could stay there all day long and had a nice privacy there. The seaview is really stunning. A car is a must as the route to the house from Calahonda center is a long uphill way. One suggestion would be to have a gas barbeque instead of conventional and messy fireplace grill.

• For us this was the first time we booked a holiday at a foreign renterservice. But it sure wont be the last time! The owner of the penthouse held contact with us during the time before we left to Spain. A friendly, welcoming and accurate contact. The penthouse exceeded our expectations. Such a beautiful place with a stunning view. Weve enjoyed several sunrises! Weve had a great holiday in this penthouse that is fitted with all conveniences, with a spectacular view.

• The main issue with this property was the lack of water both hot and cold. There was a problem with the pump when we first arrived, we were told that it was going to be fixed, however even when we left the water problem had not been fixed. The actual appartment was nice but being without water was awful as it is so crucial to have water. It was bad enough that we couldnt shower or wash dishes on some days, but we also had our 8 month old son with us who needed bathing and his bottles need cleaning along with his clothes. We havent been offered any reimbursment for this problem. But have instead been offered a discount on a next visit to the apartment which we will not be taking. We went away for a relaxing family holiday and got a headache with the lack of water.

• PROPERTY IS WELL PRESENTED AND EQUIPPED BUT WOULD BENEFIT FROM EXTRA TOWEL/BEDDING PROVISION. THE LARGE TERRACE GETS SUN ALL DAY WITH FAR RANGING SEA VIEWS, IDEAL FOR THOSE WHO SEEK SECLUSION, BUT POOL AREA A BIT DISAPPOINTING PARTICULARLY AS LIFT ACCESS USE IS ALMOST UNAVOIDABLE. CALAHONDA IS A GREAT BASE TO EXPLORE COSTA DEL SOL FROM NERJA ALL WAY TO GIBRALTAR, PLUS INLAND VILLAGES.MARBELLA IS WITHIN 20 MINUTES DRIVE. A CAR IS ESSENTIAL WITH 3.5 KM CLIMB FROM MAIN A7 AUTOVIA. A COMFORTABLE BASE BUT NOT THE MOST ACCESSIBLE THOUGH THIS IS REFLECTED IN THE RENTAL LEVEL. WE ENJOYED IT.

• I stayed at this property along with my father and uncle who are both over 65. We all loved the views and spacious feeling about the property. You definately require a car for this property but that was fine as I knew that already. The one drawback on the holiday was that we got stuck in the lift on our 1st day which meant the 2 elderly people I was staying with ended up walking up and down to the apartment all the time.

• The property was clean and comfortable. There were terrific views of the sea. The only downside is that you definitely need a car. It is a 6 minutes drive up the hill from the main road. If you don't mind, then it is worth it. Very peaceful and relaxing. Pool was a bit deep, so we declined to use it. Pool area could do with more shady areas/umbrellas etc

• This apartment was a lovely place to stay quiet at night near the pool and thoroughly modern, it was also clean and tidy. The terrace had excellent views and was a nice environment in which to relax with a glass of wine. We had a very chilled week and totally enjoyed the whole holiday. If anybody wants a good restaurant, nearby in the village of Mijas is a superb one called Valparaiso we had an excellent night there. We would definitely not think twice about staying in this apartment again

• All we can say is WOW! Our week was beautiful blue sunny skies and the views from this penthouse apartment were very relaxing. The apartment and its ammenities were excellent. Lots of space and nice to have a large refrigerator, stove and dishwasher!! The Calahonda area is a perfect spot to take advantage of seeing the entire Costa Del Sol area. The secured parking and elevator were just right for us. We had two children age 11 and 6 so the apartment was just right. Toddlers might present a problem on steps and porch though. We would go back in a minute. This vacation cured our "cabin fever" and Winter blues that set in each February/March.

• Set in the hills above Calahonda town, this apartment provided amazing views across the mediteranean and an unbelievably large terrace for enjoying the views, sun bathing and eating meals/bbqs. Being high above ground level, we were able to enjoy the tranquility of the location from the terrace, while having use of communal pools to the sides of the apartment block.
  The apartment itself was delightful with marble floors throughout and three bathrooms, providing a lovely cool air conditioned haven from the heat of the sun.
  We hired a car and were grateful of the secure underground parking with a lift right to the door of the apartment. The beaches, shops and restuarants were all within easy reach too and a car gave us the freedom to visit some of the most beautiful areas of the Costa del Sol.
  We'll definitely be going back.
