Sparkling Days

A superbly furnished 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom second-floor apartment very near to the best beach in Marbella and the Las Dunas de Carib Playa National Park. Finished in 2005 to a high standard, this spacious 3-bedroom apartment has two bathrooms and a usually quiet terrace overlooking the Artola 9-hole golf course, with views to the sea, and all the facilities needed to make your self-catering rental comfortable and enjoyable.

Selection of restaurants within local area:

El Cortijo (Distance 400m) Al fresco dining with german cuisine. Serves very good barbecues in the summer.
Triana Beach bar (Distance 600m) In a lovely setting right by the beach, very good value – open during the Summer.
Jaipur Palace (Distance 700m) Modern and traditional cuisine. One of the best Indian restaurants along the coast.
Meson del Pueblo -Village Inn (Distance 700m ) Barbeque specialists. Tourist flamenco shows.
Rancho Grill (Distance 800m) Specializes in meat dishes. Very popular with Spanish businessmen at lunchtime. Good value fixed price menu.
Mandarin Chinese (Distance 900m) There is a wide range of Asian restaurants within a short distance of the apartment, but this is the closest and operates a restaurant and takeaway service.
Simbad El Marino (Distance 1 Km) Spanish, fish is fresh and the fish is chosen from the fish counter before cooking. Popular with locals.
Da Bruno Italian (Distance 1.2Km) This popular restaurant was visited by Victoria and David Beckham. It serves a wide variety of pizza, pasta and classical Italian dishes.
Restaurante Club Doscientos (Distance 1.3 Km) Literally next to the sea at high tide, there is a nightclub attached which is open in the evenings. Spanish cuisine.
Alberts (Distance 1.4 km) British mainly, excellent for breakfasts and lunches, especially Sunday roast. Try the lobster if you are feeling rich.
El Puerto (Distance 1.4km) Spanish, smart fish restaurant at the side of the port with views over port and beach.
Papillon (Distance 1.7 Km) Next to beach, serves a wide range of International cuisine.
La Hacienda (Distance 2.5 Km) Short taxi ride away. A wonderful place for special occasions with an innovative tasting menu.
Beach House, Elviria (Distance 5Km) Short taxi ride away for special occasions, setting and food is superb especially at sunset.

(There are a lot of beach bars and restaurants that have not been mentioned above)

Facilities

Facilities in the apartment include satellite TV with BBC1, BBC2, ITV1 and ITV2, gas barbecue on the terrace, Playstation 2 with games, DVD players with DVDs. The apartment building is surrounded by well-kept gardens and has a large swimming pool and childrens pool. The 9-hole golf-course costs approximately 10 Euros per round.

• An excellent apartment which exceeded our expectations. It was clean, spacious & very well equipped - the swimming pool was great & the kids spent many many hours there!! The beach was a short walk away - Cobapino was a particular favourite. It is also a short drive from all the tourist locations. There are also a number of good restaurants only a short walk away. All in all we had a great time & will definately be returning. Many Thanks

• Property had everything you could have wanted and furnished to a very high standard. Swimming pool was also excellent. The amount of information left there about the area was very helpful and the added bonus of dvds and cds to use was a very thoughtful touch. All in all we had a very enjoyable holiday. The only reason which might prevent us booking again next year was the steep increase in price for the high season.

• We were very pleased with the high standard of the flat & it more than met our expectations. The flat was very clean & it was good to have a set of manuals for all the extensive appliances. In addition there was a wide selection of books & pamphlets for tourist attractions which we added to. There was a slight problem with one of the TV channels.

• DVD facility excellent with the children. Sky TV would have been good but I think Dermot would have not gone out at all..
  Pool attendant (Juan) was very friendly with the children. Great to be in walking distance of everything.
