Reviews Read what previous guests have said... | Submitted by: robert, 08/09/2009 - good position spacious and overall good value for money, would benefit from being updat ed in some areas but made up for this in overall position and facilities etc.Would stay again in future, good value for money
| Submitted by: Bent, 27/07/2009 | Submitted by: Tayla, 06/09/2008 - Property could do with updating. Laundry needs to be renewed very worn. Basic cleaning products should be supplied to enable you clean sinks etc.
Excellent pool facility. Very good location.
| Submitted by: Lesley, 19/08/2008 - Great villa with plenty of room and facilities.
Pool area great and not too crowded as there is only 4 villas sharing the pool, so most days had the pool to ourselves.
Within a five minutes walk there is a few bars, restaurants, supermarket and also the beach.
Location not to great, at the top of a hill, but was not a huge problem. Walking down is easy and a taxi backup!!
Location is central to other towns La Cala and Cala Honda, where there is plenty of bars and family restaurants.
There is also a Hotel near to the villa that has plenty of entertainment if you do not wish to leave the complex.
I would recommend hiring this villa with no hesitation and look forward to returning next year.
| Submitted by: PJ, 05/06/2008 - Had a fantastic time. Villa was better than we imagined and miraflores was a beautiful resort. Would book this villa again
| Submitted by: Andrew, 29/04/2008 - Nice property, good location, ideal for families.
| Submitted by: alisdair, 27/09/2007 - The property was execellent beautifull surroundings stunning villa .Slight draw back which for us was not a problem hire a car its worth it Crown car hire malaga airport is the cheapest Thanks very much
| Submitted by: Andrew, 09/08/2007 - Very good & spacious villa it was a lot bigger than i expected, the pool & gardens were exellent & very quiet, the surrounding area of Miraflores was a bit hilly but not to bad for an early morning stroll to the nearest shop about 10 mins away, we are thiking about booking again next year.
| Submitted by: Ray, 15/05/2007 - Set in nice surroundings and very quiet, helped no doubt by the three adjoining villas being unoccupied during our short stay. Gardens & Pool area well tended with plenty of furniture etc and quite secure.
Villa was clean, spacious and well equipped. Our party was 4 'mature' golfers, and all facilities, courses, shopping was close at hand and of course, brilliant weather assited greatly.
We would definitely consider returning next year.
| Submitted by: David, 27/07/2006 - Location within the Miraflores resort is excellent and the pool is superb. Villa facilities great and the air conditioning a blessing at times. A great base for a fantastic break in the Costa Del Sol. In my view, a hired car adds to the experience due to the geography of the Costa Del Sol. Highly recommended.
| Submitted by: Melanie, 08/06/2006 - The Villa was clean and tidy, well equipped but would benefit from a dishwasher. There was plenty of Crockery, towels and bed linen. The use of the TV and DVD player was very useful. The pool area was clean and great for the kids to play in. Although a key to the gate to the garden would have been useful as travelling with a disabled person would have allowed for easier access . I would strongly recommend car hire as the villa is situated at the top of steep hill and the supermarket is down the hill and then you have to walk back up again. We would consider renting the villa again.
| Submitted by: Joan, 01/06/2006 - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The villa lived up to its description and was in a nice spot. You definitely need a car though with all the hills, or otherwise be very fit! We would definitely recommend to friends and would stay again. Not sure if it was value for money as we have had nothing similar to compare it with. The notes re visits of local interest were very helpful.
| Submitted by: Don , 25/05/2006 - Very good value for money, at this time of year we found the area very quiet and benefited from having the shared pool area all to ourselves.
This property however is not for those without a vehicle. we were fortunate enough to have rented a vehicle for our party and although you could walk to the shops, bars and restaurants, the walk up the steep hills would not suit those with children/buggies.
There was a bit of a damp problem in the villa which did annoy us a bit as the beds did feel damp at night and in the morning.
The property was well equipped and kept our kids happy during very hot periods with the Sky tv and DVD player there, the kitchen had all the appliances you would need, and we also found plenty of linen and towels for our use.
| Submitted by: David, 19/04/2006 - The villa was in a nice location away from the main roads and many building sites springing up all over the Costa Del Sol. Whilst it's location was not remote the use of a car is highly recommended but not essential. Local shops and restaurants are within walking distance although the area is hilly. Buses run regularly and provide easy and alternative options to driving. These can take you to all the main tourist attractions in places such as Marbella, Malaga, Torremelinos etc.
We travelled with a disabled relative and had a wheelchair to transport around with us as our relative can only walk short distances. The hills in the area were not that bad to stop pushing a wheelchair to the local shops/restaurants.
The pool was a welcome luxury. We were lucky to have the use of the pool to ourselves for our 2 week stay there. This may not happen if you travel during peak season.
There are several golf courses near by which did look to be in excellent condition. Unfortunately I didn't get the opportunity to play on them but there are 2 or 3 that are within walking distance.
The area is very quiet and peaceful despite the number of occupied villas and apartments adjacent. The local secutriy patrol were very active and visible at all times of day and night, which was reassuring.
We all enjoyed our stay and would and have recommended the area to friends and relatives.
| Submitted by: Robert, 04/01/2006 - This was everything my family and I expected. The pool was just outside and the access to all of Costa del Sol was easy and available.
| Submitted by: a, 04/08/2005 - Good points - A nice, clean villa on a nice complex. The swimming pools were excellent and the facilities available in the villa were very good. The welcme pack was very good
Bad points - very hilly! not good with two pushchairs and all the shopping. Dont book a taxi through them - get one from the airport its lots cheaper!. Some of the restaurants aren't very child friendly - many didnt have child menus or high cairs
| Submitted by: Ros, 10/07/2005 - Lovely villa as described in the brochure. It was very clean and the pool and surrounding area were kept tidy.
I would recommend a car as the hill from the bus to the villa is long and steep.
The Supermarket is a 10 minute walk away, again up a hill.
We were not given a welcome pack or given any info re the complex. Also we only had one key between 7 of us. I understand this was because the person looking after the villa has recently changed so perhaps this will change.
I would come here again but would hire a car.
| Submitted by: Dalia, 27/05/2005 - My husband and I treated our daughters, husbands and grandchildren to this holiday for my birthday, and we had a wonderful time. My 4 grandchildren aged between 1 and 9 had a wonderful time splashing in the pool and running around the gardens all day which was completely secure, While my daughters and I were able watch them and totally relax by the villas gardens and enjoy the surroundings which were beautiful, peaceful and private. We felt the villa itself was well equipped with all mod cons everything being like the description on the web. The villa was clean, bright and spacious and the DVD player was great entertainment for the kids in the evening to calm them down. We ordered a welcome pack as we had a late arrival which was convenient. We also hired two cars which was also useful as going to the supermarket would have been a good 15 minute walk down then up a hill. The complex had a main club house, restaurant and bar with entertainment every night. We only ventured out 3 nights of the 7 as we barbequed at the villa and found the clubhouse entertainment quite satisfying. My husband and son-in-laws also enjoyed the local golf courses and complex tennis courts. I would definitely recommend this holiday for couples, families and anyone else looking for a great location, home from home BUT with great weather for a short or long break.
| Submitted by: Jackie, 22/09/2004 - The property was extremely well furnished and clean. The pool was very clean and there were ample sun loungers available. Although we stayed at the beginning of September, the pool area was extremely quiet and peaceful. The only slightly negative point was that the shops were about 10 min walk away, although that said there were 2 large supermarkets. The opportunity to provide 'welcome pack' would be useful for late night arrivals to ensure you can at least have a cuppa.. Thankfully we had a superb taxi driver who took us to the supermarket on route from the airport where we were able to stock up on water and wine, and other essential provisions. The villa was of an exceptionally high standard and I would recommend this again. In fact I would like to book this for a winter break next year.
We visited Puerto Cabopina, Marbella and Puerto Banus during our short stay and would recommend Orange Square Restaurant for a meal...paella is superb!! and Puerto Banus for the designer shops...!! loved it!!
Thanks
