Luxury 5 bed villa with private infinity pool & sea views

Castillo Nuevo is an impressive large 3 storey 2yr old modern villa, which has been built to the highest specification & is air-conditioned throughout. This luxury villa comprises of 5 large en-suite bedrooms & sleeps 10. Even in this depressed market the Villa has been valued at 1.25 million euros. The 5 large en-suite bedrooms all have large walk in jet power showers and 2 of the bathrooms also have baths. They are all finished to a very high standard. There is also a toilet and shower room on the ground floor for your convenience. There is a choice of 1 super king bed, 3 king beds and 1 room with twin beds. Two of the bedrooms have Juliet balconies and the master bed has a large terrace and dressing area. There are 2 living rooms one on the ground floor and one on the lower ground floor next to the bar/music room along with the 2nd kitchen. Within the garden there is a private infinity pool, table tennis room, BBQ, gazebo, several terraces, balconies & garden. It is set into the eastern hill face of the beautiful wooded valley urbanisation called Torrenueva. The villa commands an elevated position and therefore offers stunning views of the sea and valley. Set within a quiet cul-de-sac, the villa enjoys sun on most of the terraces and garden from sunrise to sundown. This villa has so much space inside and outside enabling you to find yourself a quiet corner to relax. Within the urbanisations you have use of tennis courts (small charge) and the Petanque court (French Boules). The local restaurants and well stocked supermarket are a 3min walk and the beach & chiringuitos a further 1min. The popular old Spanish fishing village of La Cala with its twice weekly market, friendly bars & great restaurants is only a 10min stroll away. A car is not necessary as everything is within a short walk away. If you do decide to hire a car though, you are in a perfect place to discover all the Costa del Sol has to offer. The villa is 15min drive from both Marbella and Fuengirola.

Things to do in and around the area.

Car hire is not necessary with this property due to its central location. It is however a great location to explore the Costa del Sol, and if you wish to do this we would recommend you hire a car on your arrival at Malaga airport which is approximately a 30 minute drive from the villa. Other than that you can hire a car in La Cala, a 10 minute walk away. If you wish to use another airport Gibraltar and Granada are approximately 1½ hours drive from the villa. Another option is taxis & buses which again are only a few minutes’ walk away.
There are many activities and tourist attractions along the Costa del Sol these include, water sports, water parks, horse riding, and golfing, walking, sightseeing and great nightlife. There are also great night time race meetings at the Hippodrome race course during the summer which is just a few minutes’ drive out of La Cala. A must has to be the world famous Puerto Banus (20 mins drive), designer shops, bars and restaurants. Benalmadena Marina is a short drive and is also a recommended visit along with Marbella old town and its famous Orange Square and church. There are also ample attractions to keep the young members of the group entertained, Fuengirola zoo, Tivoli World, Crocodile Park and Aqua Park. The great Selwo Adventure Park is just 30mins away near Estepona, based on an African safari, 2,000 animals in semi-wild conditions..

Golf in the area

There are more than 40 golf courses between Malaga and Gibraltar - known amongst many as the Costa del Golf. Golfers come from all over the world to play on some of the finest courses in the world. There are numerous driving ranges, golf schools, golf shops and even golf bars on the coast. A link is available on request. Golf courses in the area (within a 5-10 minute drive) include La Siesta, Cabopino Golf, Artola Golf, Santa Maria Golf (Elviria), Miraflores Golf (Riviera del Sol) and La Cala Golf (Mijas Costa).

• We had an excellent time staying at the villa. Joan, the landlady was so friendly and had the place looking great before we arrived. The villa itself was just exquisite, just like all the wonderful villas featured on TV. The nearest restaurant was literally two minutes away. So was the tennis court. Everything we needed was provided, including tennis rackets and ping pong bats. It was a joy sitting on the veranda for breakfast and then just a few steps down dived into the pool. What a great place, really miss the pool. The kitchen was fully stocked, unlike some villas we have rented when there are only bare essentials. We cooked a couple of times in the kitchen and there are 9 of us but there were ample pots and pans to cook with. The fridge was large and spacious. The most welcomed feature was the ice maker which dispenses ice in cubes and crushed. This was used almost non stop. As usual, the kitchen is the centre of attention. It was great moving from kitchen, veranda, pool. Sheer bliss. Parking was also very good, we hire two cars and park just outside the villa, plenty of space. The location is just perfect. The villas is just of the main road serving Malaga to Gibraltar and onto Tarifa. A couple of minutes off a turning, up a slope and yet it was so quite. Great views, five to ten minutes walk to beach, or a minutes drive down the slope to the beach. Cant thank Joan enough for letting us the villa. We have a fantastic time and hope to be back. • The property was stunning with everything you could need. The location was excellent as you have a very good shop and a lovely beach within a few minutes walk. This makes it easy to pop to the beach and back again. The town of la Cala is just a short walk away and has some nice restaurants, beach and childrens play areas. The villa has a fabulous social kitchen and there are lots of different living areas to spread out in (even a bar area!). The pool and views are lovely. The area is quite and peaceful but close to bigger towns should you want to vist them. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful and ensured we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Would love to go back again!
